Nurturing Women Leaders Through Collective Community Empowerment

Inspired by the trailblazing women leaders around us, from Vice President Kamala Harris to County Executive Angela Alsobrooks and beyond, the REACH movement aims to create a platform for women in Howard County to develop their leadership skills, engage in meaningful dialogue, and build a supportive network of peers and mentors.
REACH is built on a foundation of three key pillars: Rising Leaders, Representing Leaders, and Reflecting Leaders. Each group plays an essential role in shaping our community and fostering growth among its members:
Rising Leaders: High school and college students aspiring to pursue careers in public service, poised to become the leaders of tomorrow.Representing Leaders: Women currently employed in public service, making a difference in the community and inspiring others with their dedication and expertise.Reflecting Leaders: Retired professionals who have served as community leaders, offering invaluable wisdom and insight gained from their years of experience.
